Terms

Defined scope, visible exceptions.

These draft terms describe the intended boundaries for future Signal Operations Lab services.

Service audience

Audience rules are set separately for each service. The proposed PDF price-list service is intended for business and professional use, including by companies, sole traders, freelancers, agencies, independent ecommerce sellers, associations, and professional teams. It is not intended for purchases made primarily for personal or household use.

Service scope

Each service will have a published description covering supported inputs, output format, limits, exclusions, delivery method, validation, pricing, and applicable support. Only that confirmed scope is included.

The first proposed service is limited to preparing a structured CSV and related validation materials from one supported supplier price-list PDF. It does not include access to customer or supplier accounts, changes to production systems, or interpretation outside the stated data-processing scope.

Published specification

An order includes only the published supported inputs, outputs, validation checks, limits, exclusions, and delivery format. Any additional work requires a separately confirmed scope.

Customer authorization

Customers must have the authority and all necessary legal and contractual rights to submit and process every source file. Files must not be obtained through unlawful access, unauthorized scraping, bypassed controls, or another prohibited method.

Do not provide credentials, passwords, private account access, payment-card data, identity documents, or information outside the published service scope.

Customer review

Delivered output must be reviewed before import, publication, replacement, deletion, or other production use. Customers should maintain appropriate backups and must not make automatic destructive changes based solely on the output.

Ambiguity policy

Not every PDF can be extracted accurately. Password protection, image quality, handwriting, inconsistent layouts, unusual encodings, missing information, or damaged content may prevent or limit processing.

Missing, conflicting, unreadable, unresolved, or uncertain values will be reported rather than guessed. A file may be rejected before processing or stopped when the input is unsupported, risky, unauthorized, or materially outside the confirmed scope.

Excluded decisions

Services provide bounded information processing and validation. They do not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, engineering, medical, product-safety, regulatory, employment, insurance, or other high-risk professional advice and must not be used as the sole basis for those decisions.

Primary remedy

Correction or reprocessing is the first remedy when a delivered file materially fails to meet the agreed specification. If correction is not reasonably possible, the affected order may be considered for a refund under the final published policy.

Payments and commercial terms

Payments are not currently enabled. Pricing, checkout, delivery timing, revision boundaries, refund eligibility, taxes, and final commercial terms will be published before the first service launches.

Responsibility

The aim is to deliver the agreed output with the stated validation and transparent exceptions. Customers remain responsible for reviewing outputs for their intended use and for decisions made from them.

Any future limitation of responsibility must be proportionate, consistent with applicable law, and reviewed with the complete commercial terms. Nothing in this draft is intended to exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
